WILTON, Helen Marjorie (nee Thomas)
Peacefully with family by her side in her 88th year at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa, on Sunday, January 6th, 2019. Beloved wife of George for 60 ½ years. Devoted and loving mom of Stephen (Dianne Azzarello), Susan, Janice Selfridge (Gord) and David (Karen). Proud Grandma to Michael, Daniel, Colin, Andrew, Jonathan (Lindsay), Brittany and Kylie, and Great Grandma to Jocelyn and Brody. Helen lived life to the fullest enjoying family, travel and many summers at the family cottage at Balsam Lake. Helen will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. The family wishes to thank the caring nurses of 7W and the Supportive Care team with special thanks to Barb. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Sunday, January 13th, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Life Service in the chapel at 1:00 pm.
