Suddenly, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 of Zurich at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Helen (Boyes) Consitt. Dear father of Jeffrey Consitt of Guelph, Steven and Deborah Consitt of Zurich, and Heather and Richard De Jonge of Rockwood. Dear grandfather of Mackenzie, and Turner; and Abigail. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Jim and Marion Consitt of Zurich, Nancy and Chuck Becker of Lucknow, Barb Consitt of Varna, and Marjorie Consitt of Goderich. Predeceased by an infant son, parents Russell and Eileen Consitt, and brothers Thomas, and William. John was the manager of Hay Mutual Insurance for 43 years.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 49 Goshen Street North, Zurich on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM, and again at Brucefield Community United Church, 10 London Road, Brucefield on Monday, January 7th from 10-11 AM, where the funeral service will be held at 11 AM with Rev. Randy Bank officiating. Interment Bayfield Cemetery.
