Obituary for Mrs. Charlotte Alma Weselake
WESELAKE Charlotte, Alma (nee Wilson) Passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Campbell House Hospice Collingwood in her 93rd year. Charlotte born in Avonlea Sask, to Donald And Olive Wilson. The beloved wife of the late Jan (Jack) Weselake. She was predeceased by her sons Ronald and Richard. Charlotte will be sadly missed by her daughter Lorri (Brian) Perry, and her son Robert (Jeannette) Weselake. Cherished ’Mama’ to Wendy, James, Becky, Trisha, Chrissie, Jackie, Bob, Jason, Elisha, Don, Ryan and Tyler, as well as to over 20 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. Charlotte is survived by her brothers Lloyd (Kay) Wilson, and Keith (Jaquie) Wilson and many nieces and nephews . She was predeceased by her sister Thelma Clarida, and brothers, Don, Bill, Malcolm and Stan. Charlotte had a life long passion for sewing, Her many beautiful quilts, stuffed animals, and crocheted doilies, will be forever cherished by her family. Her strength and independence throughout her life was inspiring to all who knew her. We would like to thank Blue Mountain Manor Stayner, and Hospice Georgian Triangle-Campbell House Collingwood, and Dr. Kate McLachlin for their wonderful care and compassion. A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring, followed by internment at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens, Glenburnie, (Kingston) Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Georgian Triangle-Campbell House would be appreciated.
