Obituary of Marie Oliver
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our strong and courageous mother on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, Ellen ‘Marie’ Oliver of Gull Island, age 84 years. Predeceased by grandsons: Brandon and Devon; parents: Arthur & Rebecca Oliver; sisters: Sarah (Fred) Johnson, Gertrude (Phillip) McCann; brother-in-law: Mike (Ann) Johnson; great-niece: Kenna Amy McCann. Leaving to mourn and forever loved and missed by her son: Robert (Collette); daughter: Dianne (Wayne) Hoskins; three grandchildren: Erica (Brandon), Andrea (Trevor), and Dayton, whom she loved and cherished with all her heart; brother: Peter (Maureen); sister: Ann (Mike); wonderful friend: Larry Woodfine; a special couple whom she is credited as bringing together: Eddie and Becky Murphy; fourteen God-children; a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. There will be no visitation. Funeral Mass to take place on Tuesday, January 22 at 11:00 a.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay. Inurnment to be held in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Bay at a later date.
You will always be with us mom. You were both mother and father to us always and we will always hold you in our hearts.
