Zdzislaw « Stan » Granasiuk
Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Hamilton General Hospital in his 77th year. Dear husband of Jadwiga “Janet” (nee Tujaka) of 48 years. Beloved and proud father of Ella Starcevic (Peter) and Darrick Granasiuk (Jacquelyn). Dearly loved grandfather “dziadzio” of Christopher, Alanna, Victoria, Liam, Brooklynn and Jadyn. Predeceased by his parents Wiktor and Feliksa Granasiuk and his sister Janina Lisiecka. Sister-in-law of Czeslawa Kowal. Predeceased by sister-in law Eugenia Malec and brother-in-law Jan Tujaka. Zdzislaw will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Zdzislaw was a proud member of the Polish National Union Canada Branch 17 as well as the president of the Polish Seniors Club. Zdzislaw was a retired employee of Ford Motor Company in Oakville. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Tuesday, October 30 from 5-8 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at St. Gabriel Roman Catholic Church, 2261 Parkway Drive, BURLINGTON, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Burlington Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
