The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury, Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the age of 82 years. Husband of the late Jeannine (née Robillard) Berthiaume of 59 years. Son of the late George-Émile and the late Gertrude (née Glaguë) Berthiaume. Loving father of Réjean (Megan), Carmen (Gabriel Aubin), and Diane Armitage (Shannon) all of Chelmsford, Émile (Heather) and Monique of Sudbury. Predeceased by his daughter Hélène Berthiaume. Dear brother Yvette D’aoust (Roger), Paul-Émile Berthiaume (Anne) and Aimé Berthiaume (Armande) all of Chelmsford. Predeceased by his silbings René Berthiaume (Rollande of Azilda) and Aline Lefebvre (Sylvio of Chelmsford). Cherished grandfather of Gabriel, Daniel, Mark, Hélène, Joanne, Larry, Roger and great-grandfather of 9. Yvon was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd degree, council 6258, and 4th degree, Assembly Mgr. Adolphe Proulx. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Roch and the staff at Health Sciences North, 6 South. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford on Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, January 15, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St-Joseph Church, Chelmsford.
