Passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at Baie Verte Peninsula Hospital on Thursday April 5, 2018. Predeceased by her husband, Fong Jim (1983); her parents, Stanley Wong and Seto Yun; brothers, Shek Yui Wong ; and daughter-in-law, May Jim.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who leaves with fond and loving memories her children, Betty Yee (Sonny), Quong (Irene Gilligham), King (Anne), Jeanie (Brian Rogers), Patrick (Tassie), William (Cherryl),and Patsy; grandchildren, Sheryl, Silvana, Rosanne, Johnny, David, Jason, Colin, Michael, Chelsea, Nathan, Zoe, Maddie, Justin, Jasmine, Cassandra, and Nathaniel; great-grandchildren, Chase, Noah, Andrew, Alexander, Julia, Anna, Sophie, Evander, Adelia; brother, Len Wong; sister-in-law, Wai Han Wong and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, St. John’s on Saturday and Sunday, April 7th and 8th, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Carnell Memorial Chapel on Monday April 9th, 2018 at 11:00 am with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Wong Kim Sue’s memory may be made to the Therapeutic Wander Garden at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Center.
