It is with sadness the family of Winona E. Boyce (Nonie), announce her passing at Interior Health Hospice House in Kelowna on Nov 14th, 2018. She was the adored wife of Robert (predeceased), loved mom of Connie-gay Boyce, Patty-Sue Boyce (predeceased) and Mike Boyce and very special Grandma of only Grandson Michael Boyce-Bull. Nonie and Bob loved to camp and travel in their motor home and had many adventures over the decades. She was an exceptional cook, created beautiful quilts, could knit anything, did embroidery and many other crafts. Her greatest and true love was to bake and cook an array of treats which she generously shared with all. Nonie was a member/Sister of PEO since 1986 in Alberta and BC and so enjoyed all the gals and work they did to support educating women.
The family would like to express their gratitude to all the staff and caregivers at Kelowna Hospice House. This fabulous group of dedicated people made mom’s stay so comfortable and loving.
A Celebration of life will take place on Saturday, Dec 8th, 2018 from 12:30-2:30 at Trinity Baptist Church, Harvest Room. Family, friends, neighbours and PEO Sisters are invited to join for the sharing of stories, adventures and life of this wonderful lady.
In lieu of flowers and in memory of Winona, donations may be made to Kelowna Hospice House or PEO Chapter BN Kelowna.
