Obituary of William Ramp
RAMP, William passed away on Monday December 10, 2018 at Parkview Meadows, Townsend in his 92nd year. Loving husband of Ruth, dear father of William of Lethbridge, Alberta; Rita (Gary) Johnston of Waterloo; Sheila (Bob) Wylie of Niagara on the Lake and Phyllis (Greg) Rawlings of Ripley. Proud grandfather of Hugh, Allayna, Mariel, Melissa, Scott, Steven, David, Matthew, Jordan, Kevin, Phil and Brad. Great grandfather of Mackenzie, Logan, Ben and Charlie. Predeceased by his parents Willem and Neeltje, 1 brother and 5 sisters in Holland and his sister Ada and brother in law Nick Breedyk of Simcoe. William owned and operated a dairy farm on the outskirts of Port Dover and was a long time member of Grace United Church. Friends are invited to meet with family for visitation on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 7pm to 9pm at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME 102 First Ave Port Dover 519-583-1530. A Service of Remembrance to celebrate Bill’s life will be held at Grace United Church, Chapman and St. George St., Port Dover on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 11 am. The Reverend Kathryn Vance officiating. Interment St. John’s Cemetery. For those wishing donations to Grace United Church or Parkinson’s Society would be greatly appreciated.
