Obituary of William Hamilton
With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing at home on Wednesday December 12, 2018 of our beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather. Bill is survived by his wife of 40 years, Margaret Dubois, his sons and daughter and their spouses, Donald Scott (Tomoko), Chelsea Elizabeth (Todd Crapper), William Aaron Ray (Sara Bruno), his sisters Janice Hamilton-Pennock, Donna (Chris Taylor) and brothers and sisters-in-law Doug (Doris) Dubois, Garnet (Sue) Dubois and sister-in-law Alice (Steve) Grenon and his grandsons Logan Michael, and Donald Jake (DJ).
Bill was predeceased by his parents, Donald George and Dorothy June (Peters) Hamilton, his in laws Ray and Lois (Douglas) Dubois and brothers-in-law Michael John Dubois and Giles Pennock. Bill will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbours.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the DACA Community Association on Sunday December 16th at 1:00 pm at 111 Flat Road Dacre, ON. Please join us to celebrate Bill’s life, by sharing refreshments and stories.
A warm thank you to our family, friends, neighbours and co-workers, the Renfrew Victoria Hospital Oncology Unit and Bill’s Home Care Palliative Team for their support during this difficult time.
