DACEY, William “Bill” Ernest
It is with great sadness that Bills family announces his passing on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the age of 76. Bill passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Bill was predeceased by his parents Ernie & Annie; Wife Joan; brothers Bob & Tom and two infant siblings. Bill is survived by his life partner Fay Thompson; Brother John; Step Children from Bills previous marriage to Joan; Tina (Tony) Grant, Christine (Bartley) Fays children; Herb (Krista), Tammy, Bruce (Michelle) and Amanda; Grandchildren Nikki (Corey), Tyler (Jasmine), Cassie (Brady), Levi, Stephanie, Dakota, Montana, Damian, Larson, Jordon, Larrisa, Jerry; 6 great-grandchildren; Sister- in- law Jean (Doug) as well as numerous nieces and nephews all of whom he loved unconditionally. Bill worked at McGavins Bakery for 27 years until it closed. He then worked at the Plains Health Centre and later retired from the Pasqua Hospital. Bill had made several lifelong friendships along the way. He had a passion for loud music and older cars. Bill was one of a kind and will be missed by all who knew him. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt Thank You to a very caring and supportive group of Doctors and Nurses on the Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pallative Care Unit. As per Bill’s wishes there will be a Graveside Service, at Riverside Memorial Park, 815 Assiniboine Ave East, Regina, SK where he will be laid to rest beside his late wife Joan. Everyone is invited to attend. This will take place at 2:00 pm, TOMORROW, Thursday, January 3, 2019. Please arrive before 1:50 pm just inside the gate of the cemetery.
