William (Willie) Gordon Seaward

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late William (Willie) Gordon Seaward announces his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL on Saturday, March 31st, 2018 at the age of 75 years. Born in Channel-Port aux Basques, William was the son of the late James and Frances Seaward (nee Osmond). He was also predeceased by his father and mother-in-law Thomas (Jane) Battiste; his children Rhonda Seaward, Jason Seaward; sisters Shirley (Bert) Hann, Viola Osmond; sisters-in-law Joan Seaward, Sharon Seaward, Mabel Battiste; brothers-in-law Joseph Battiste, Raymond Battiste, Lewis Battiste, Robert (Bob) Peddle; and granddaughter baby Glenda Kendall.
He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife of 55 years Audrey (nee Battiste); sons Glenn (Harriet) Seaward of Calgary, AB, Travis (Lorna) Seaward of Port aux Basques, NL, Randy (Angela) Seaward of Grand Falls Windsor, NL, six (6) grandchildren Jessica (Darren), Gary (Leanne) all of Calgary, AB, Brandon (Nakita) of Port aux Basques, NL, Blake (April) of Corner Brook, NL, Evan and Emma both of Grand Falls Windsor, NL; two (2) great-grandchildren Jaxson and Leah; brothers and sisters Phyllis (Robert) Cox, Maxwell (Max) (Eleanor) Seaward, Robert (Sally) Seaward all of of Port aux Basques, NL, Eric (Laura) Seaward of Seattle, USA, Donna Lee (Lloyd) McQuire of Fredericton, NB; brothers and sisters-in-law Ronnie (Maxine) Battiste of Doyles, NL, Nina Peddle, Kevin (Donna) Battiste all of Port aux Basques, NL, Marlene (Tom) Brake of South Branche, NL, Gerard (Carolann) Battiste, Jerome (Pauline) Battiste, Mary Battiste, Marie Battiste, Ruth Fillier, Lloyd Osmond, Tom Francis all of Port aux Basques, NL, Jean Gabriel of McDougalls, NL, plus many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation taking place on Monday, April 2nd from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm continuing on Tuesday, April 3rd from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Faith Pentecostal Tabernacle in Port aux Basques, NL. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 4th at 2 pm from the Faith Pentecostal Tabernacle in Port aux Basques, NL officiated by Pastor Tyrone Ball with internment to follow at the Faith Pentecostal Cemetery, Trans Canada Highway, NL. Flowers are graciously accepted and donations can be made to the family.
