Peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family on
Wednesday June 27, 2018 of William Tyndall Semple of Kensington aged
85 years. Born in Summerside June 5 1933 son of the late
George and Muriel (Marks) Semple. Husband of Anna (Leard) Semple.
Predeceased by his first wife Jean (Davies) Semple. Father
of Sandra (John) van der Velden and Karen (Jim) McCarron.
Grandfather of Chelsey Harris, Trent van der Velden (Kelsie), Kurt
Johnstone, Cody Johnstone (Elizabeth), Dustin (Leanne) Johnstone,
Shaylen McCarron, Riley McCarron and Tobin MacEwen who loved to visit
Grampie. Great-grandfather of Serena Harris, Roman Harris,
Cooper Johnstone, and Paige Johnstone. Brother of Helen
(Bill) Stewart and the late Mabel (Nelson) Simpson.
Brother-in-law of Sylvia Yeo and Earl Leard. Also
surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation
on Friday from 5-7. Funeral Saturday in the Davison Funeral
Home Chapel at 10:30. Interment in People’s
Cemetery Kensington. If so desired contributions may be made
to the Kensington People’s Cemetery Fund or the Prince
County Hospital Foundation.
