April 23, 1936 to March 24, 2018
William passed away peacefully at the Vernon Hospice House with his family by his side. He will be dearly missed and is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Marita, and his children, Keri and Carmen.
Born in Poland, Warsaw, Bill was a great traveler, loved reading, gardening, Willie Nelson and enjoyed eating food. He was a 30 year member of the Bouchie Lake and Cariboo Pulp and Paper Fire Departments, enjoyed trail rides out to Pan Phillips Homestead and started the Central BC Skydivers.
A memorial tea will be held in the Halina Senior Centre “Club Room” on March 31, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
Expressions of sympathy and any donations can be given to the “Halina Seniors Centre.”
A huge “Thank you” to Sara and the palliative care aides and the Hospice staff.
