William Riedner
Peacefully on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Concordia Hospital, Bill, beloved husband of Loretta passed away at the age of 81.
He was predeceased by his parents Adolf and Rosalie (nee Flatt) Riedner; parents-in-law Lloyd and Charlotte Whitcomb; and brother-in-law Gary Bonikowsky.
Bill will be lovingly remembered by his spouse of 56 years Loretta; children Daniel (Michelle), Gregory (Tania); grandchildren Joshua (Elizabeth), Benjamin (Shania), Nathan, George, Sean, and Rebecca. He will also be lovingly remembered by his brother Harry (Sheila); sister-in-law Louise Bonikowsky; and extended family and many friends.
Bill loved his family time with his grandchildren, and the time he spent fishing. He loved working with his hands, crafting, building, and helping others.
Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 6, 2018, at Kilcona Alliance Church, 1977 Norris Road, Winnipeg, MB. Reception will follow and a private interment will be held.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in William’s name to a charity of one’s choice.
