It is with great sadness that the family of William Patrick (Bill) Prowse announces his passing on October 3, 2018 at the age of 93. Bill was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Royal Air Force. Predeceased by his parents, John Leo and Mary Ellen Prowse, parents-in-law, John William and Emma Wiseman, three sisters, Frances, Florence, Catherine, and two brothers-in-law, Joseph Ryan and Edward Manning. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife of sixty years, Frances (Frankie), and five children, Patrice (Tom), Louise (Keith), John, Mary (Gene) and Krista (Andrew), sister Pauline Manning, brothers-in-law Jim Menees and Bob Furlong, and special god-child, Lynn (Graeme). Gramps Bill will be warmly remembered by his twelve grandchildren, Steven, Amy, Leah, Sarah; Meaghan, Michael, Caitlin; Katherine, Michael, Laura; Ben, and Sophie, as well as ten great-grandchildren. Also, fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends and neighbors. A very special thank you to the truly caring and amazing staff at the Caribou Memorial Veterans Pavilion and the staff of his former residence, Tiffany Village Retirement Home. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, with visitation on Sunday from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, October 8, 2018 at 10 a.m. from Mary Queen of Peace Church. Flowers are gratefully accepted, or donations may be made to the Caribou Memorial Veterans Pavilion.
