OBITUARY
William Norman Grey
December 5, 1944 – December 5, 2018
Fell asleep in Christ, peacefully on December 5, 2018 after a long and difficult battle with ALS that he bore with great courage.
Predeceased by his parents Frank and Bertha, and his first wife Linda. Loved by his wife Donna, his daughter Rachel (Dave) and son Paul (Kim), and grandchildren Lucas, Levi, and Elias. Survived by his brothers Howard (Miriam), Bruce (Claudia), and his brother in law Doug Shepard (Judy). Norm spent nearly 40 years with CIBC and the Bank of Canada (CIS) in various positions and was a director of youth mentorship with the Canadian Youth Business Foundation. He was heavily involved with the Canadian Cancer Society for many years, with PROBUS (Dundas) and numerous local organizations. Many thanks go to the staff at the Juravinski Hospital, Chaplain Dave Jones, the physiotherapists, and the Respirology Department for all their wonderful kindness and support to the family.
Cremation has taken place. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, December 15th at 11am at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME “Swackhamer Chapel” 195 King Street West, Dundas. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juravinski ICU for Patient Comfort Care in Norm’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
