It is with great sadness and broken hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Howard, in his 89th year, on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Uxbridge Cottage Hospital with family by his side. Howard was the husband of the late Zula Hall for 61 years. Much loved Dad of Ted (deceased) and Gina Hall of St. Catharines, Jennifer and Ron Down of Port Perry, and Cathryn Hall of London. Grandpa of Allison (Jeff) Blain, David (Tina) Hall, Katie Hall, Hallie (Trevor) Kerr, James (Jasmine) Donaldson, Hunter Donaldson, Shelby Down, and Ryan (Shevaun) Down. Great Grandpa of Spencer and Sophie Blain, Max and Cole Kerr, Alex Hall, Colton, Brooklyn, Rogan, Liam, and Nolan Down. Brother of Melba Hall (deceased), Norma (Eric – deceased) Hurst, Harvey (deceased) and Teresa Hall (deceased), and Cathryn Hall. Brother-in-law of Wes (Norma-deceased) Jackson. Howard was predeceased by his parents Bill & Bessie.
The family of Howard Hall will receive friends at the Port Perry United Church, 294 Queen Street in Port Perry on Sunday, March 4th from 7-9 p.m. and on Monday, March 5th from 2–4 p.m. and 7 –9 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Port Perry United Church on Tuesday March 6th, at 11 a.m. with Reverend Elaine Hall officiating. Interment at Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Port Perry United Church or the Port Perry Hospital Foundation.
