It is with great sadness that the family of the late William Francis King announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on May 3, 2018 at the age of 89 years. Leaving to mourn is his Children Diane King (John Hines) St. George’s, NF, Robert (Eileen) King, Tina Noel (Darrel St. Croix) St. George’s, NF, Garry Noel (Caroline Todd) Peterborough, ON, Ryan King, Edmonton, AB, Gregory King (Shanna Ward) St. Fintan’s, NF, Francis Sheppard (Kathleen Sheppard), Stephenville Crossing, NF. In Alberta, five Grandsons, Aaron & Andrew Fillatre, Amelio King, Shannon Wall, & Cody King. Seven granddaughters, Natasha Sheppard, Miranda Sheppard, Tia Samms, Diana King, Nicole King, Chelsea King & Angie King, along with 6 great-grandchildren, Taivynn King, Payton Fillatre, Keegan King, Terrance Fillatre, Liam Samms, & George Gale. 2 Brothers, Edward (Mary) King and Joseph King, both in St. Fintan’s, and one sister Zeda King, of Stephenville Crossing, NF, along with a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Bernadette King, his parents James and Mary King. Chapel Service will take place at Russell’s Funeral Home in Stephenville on Monday May 7th at 2:00 P.M., for immediate family. Ashes will be taken to Cold Lake, Alberta to be laid to rest with his wife, Bernadette King.
