Obituary of William Duncan
Peacefully with his wife by his side, at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound, on Friday afternoon, February 9th, 2018. William John Duncan, of Owen Sound, at the age of 77 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Marjorie Duncan (nee Briggs) for 50 years. Loving father of Sheri Jantzen and her husband, Ernest and Jennifer Kivell and her husband, Allan, both of Owen Sound. Proud grandfather of Gregory Jantzen, Nathan and Connor Brown. Dear brother of Jean Beynon (Lorne) and Paul Duncan (Linda), both of Owen Sound and brother-in-law of Russell McConnell, of Kilsyth, Marg Duncan, of Cambridge, Doug Briggs (Cathy) and Bob Briggs, both of North Bay. Bill will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Ronald and Betty Duncan; his siblings, Bob Duncan, Helen Gardiner McConnell, Ron Duncan; his brother-in-law, Bill Gardiner.
As per Bill’s request, there will not be any service at this time. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation or the Kidney Foundation of Canada as an expression of sympathy and may be made through the BRIAN E.
