William C. « Bill » Gallagher
1954-2018
It is with sadness we announce the passing of our brother,
William « Bill » Gallagher, 64,
of Mapleton, on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at his home. Born in
Springhill, Bill was a son of the late C. Curtis and M. Emily (Brown)
Gallagher.
‘Billy G’ as he was fondly known, enjoyed spending time at
the camp and being around his family, in particular the kids that he
teased so much. Billy was kind and caring, always having time for
those in need. He was a simple man who enjoyed life.
Bill is survived by his siblings, Edna Smith, Springhill,
Dorothy (Brenton) Booth, Mapleton, Jim (Sharon) Gallagher, Mapleton,
David (Evelyn) Gallagher, Mapleton, Marlene (Wayne) Millard, Mapleton,
Dwight (Linda) Gallagher, Springhill, and Rhonda Gallagher-Bradbury,
Springhill, as well as several aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and
very dear friends.
Arrangements are under the care and direction
of A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane
Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361). Cremation has taken place and a
private family graveside service will be held at a later
date.
Donations in memory of Bill may be made to the Multiple
Sclerosis Society or the Southbrook Cemetery.
