William « Bill » Todoschuk
1934-2018
William « Bill » Todoschuk, 83, of Wheaton
Settlement, NB passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at his home. Born
October 2, 1934 in Vergin SK to the late Peter and Zorria (Andrychuk)
Todoschuk.
In Bill’s earlier years, he was an avid Curler, was a Track
& Field record holder and had a black belt in karate. He
enjoyed his farm, gardening and growing strawberries.
He was in the Canadian Air Force for 25 years, retiring as
Chief Warrant Officer. He served 15 years with the 32nd Service
Battalion as Captain. He then worked for the Department of
Transportation for 13 years, retiring as Supervisor at the River Glade
Weigh Scales.
Bill was a member of many organizations, including St.
Jude’s Church, Salisbury Lions Club, past President of Royal
Canadian Legion # 31 in Salisbury, and as a cancer survivor he
volunteered for the Canadian Cancer Society.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Agnes Mary
(Estey), four children Mike (Karen) of Amherst, NS, Billy (Andrea) of
Georgetown, ON, Dianne Lewis (Scott) of Betty Mills, NB, Terry
(Deborah) of Udora, ON, cherished grandchildren Tarrin, Sarah,
Jessica, Becca and Jemma, brothers Ron Todson of Abbotsford, BC, Wally
Kitzul of Winnipeg, sisters Gloria Wilcox of Yorkton, SK,
sister-in-law Joan Simmons, brother-in-law, Ben Estey and several
nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Bill was predeceased by step-mother Mary
Kitzal, sisters Bernice Churko, Ollie Ludba, Anne Mullen, Mary
Katoluk, brothers John and Mike Todoschuk.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home (372-4800) where visitation
will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 7 – 9 pm with Parish
Prayers and Sharing of Memories taking place at 8:30 pm. Mass of
Christian Remembrance will be celebrated at St. Jude’s Roman
Catholic Church on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 10 am with Rev. Phil
Mulligan officiating.
If desired, memorials to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart
& Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the
family.
