OBITUARY
GRIMES, William Edward “Bill”, 80 of Lower Sackville, passed away February 10, 2018 at Elk Court Continuing Care, Brookfield. Born in Rockingham, he was the son of the late William and Bertha Grimes. Bill owned and operated his own business, Protech Health Care Services, for over 20 years. An avid Boston Bruins fan, he also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bill is survived by his wife of 58 years, Diane (Little) Grimes; daughter, Heather Grimes, Halifax; sons, Bill Jr. (Karen) Grimes, Lower Sackville, Mike (Joan) Grimes, Calgary; sisters, Barbara Letriard, Lower Sackville, Joan Tanner, Middle Sackville; brother, Charles “Bussy” Grimes, Windsor Junction; grandchildren, Natasha, Kayla, Ryan, Christopher, Cameron; five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by sisters, Marguerite and Rose. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Friday, February 16th at 10 am in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Drive. A reception will follow in the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of NS or the Canadian Cancer Society.
