William Albert
Peacefully, surrounded by the love of family, William Albert, passed away at Seaforth Long Term Care Home on Friday, April 27, 2018. In his 90 years among us, Bill’s passions in life were his love of family, his trust in faith, his enthusiasm in performing country music and the great pleasure he found in keeping an immaculate, green lawn at his St. Columban home.
Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife Fay and their children, Linda Albert (Bruce Mickelson), Anne Albert, Denise (Paul) Duffy and Joanne (Martin) Minnis. Fond memories of a very special grandpa remain with grandchildren Karmin Poirier, Robert (Lucy) Poirer, Megan Duffy, Aaron Minnis and Dana Minnis. Bill will also be fondly remembered by his sister Evelyn Cormier and siblings-in-laws Albertine Mallet, Marie Lanteigne, Brigitte Chiasson and May Valdron. In faith, we trust that Bill’s spirit is reunited in eternal life with his parents Arthur and Nazarine Albert, his siblings Tony, Leo, Irene and Fernande and all those from the Albert and Lanteigne family circle who have gone on before us.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to McGlynn Family Funeral Home, (519-527-1390) Seaforth.
Visitation will take place at St. James Catholic Church, 22 Victoria Street, Seaforth on Thursday, May 3 from 10 – 10:45 a.m. followed by Mass of the Christian Burial at 11 a.m. led by Father Clair Coleman, with a reception at Seaforth Legion Branch 156, 123 Main Street South, Seaforth.
