Wilfried Josef Schwartz
Passed away at Oshawa on Saturday June 30, 2018 in his 92nd year
Loving husband to Doris and dear father of Sabine (Gary) Brazeau. Loving grandfather of Charlotte (Peter), Logan (Tara), Bethany and Brendan. Great-grandpa of Nina, Olivia, Joshua and Jonas. Wilf was a former teacher at Vanier School and Pastry Chef. He was a kind, gentle and caring man and a visionary in his time. He was a survivor of WW II and was an advocate of love for one another. Wilf believed religious wars must cease and unity of mankind with God as the Source of goodness, peace and love to each other, and he understood this was not necessarily achieved through manmade religions. He truly demonstrated what he believed through his writings and day to day practices.
A Remembrance Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. Bowmanville. Memorial donations may be made to a Charity of choice.
