We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Wilfred Robert Sedgwick on September 24, 2018 at 66 years of age.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Debi, of 44 years, his mother, Gladys, and his four children; Corey (Danielle), Lisa (Daryl), Lenee (JP), and Curtis. He will be deeply missed by his eight grandchildren; Kayden, Carter, Mackenzie, Griffin, Ryder, Tecoa, Nixon and Nova. Robert will also be forever remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Sedge worked for 35 years at Teck as a Plastic Rubber Fabricator. Since retirement, he enjoyed life to the fullest, camping all summer, wintering in Mexico and taking trips to Alberta to see his kids and grandkids. He also enjoyed the challenge of the Wii Sports game with his grandkids in Montrose and walking his grand-dog Daisy.
An open house will be held at the Montrose Hall on Friday, September 28 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Bill Clark of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
