Abernot, Wendy Rose [Aubut] – With broken hearts the family announces the unexpected but peaceful passing of Mrs Wendy Abernot at the age of 61 years. Mrs Abernot died in the comfort of her home on Monday July 09, 2018.
Born in Nipigon on September 28, 1956 to the late Morris and to the late Edna Aubut, Mrs Abernot had been a long time Cobalt resident. A women with a big heart, Wendy gave of herself selflessly. Many will remember her as barmaid at the Cobalt Royal Canadian Legion and helping anyone in need. She enjoyed playing shuffleboard and socializing with friends. But her biggest enjoyment was the time she spent with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her presence will be sorely missed by everyone whose life she touched.
Predeceased by her parents, Wendy is the loving mother of Rachel and her husband Paul Chitaroni, Wallace and his wife Vicky Pichette and Vicki and her husband Allan Bourassa. She is the cherished grandmother of Preston, Zachary, Riley, Haley, Kinsley; great-grandmother to Luca and loving sister of Darlene Sedore, Sharon Wick, Ronald Aubut and Rudy Aubut.
The family of the late Wendy Abernot will receive family and friends at the Buffam Leveille Funeral Home on Saturday July 21, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Hinden Treasures.
