Obituary
Brad was born in Nelson, BC to Earl and Dorothy Weech on September 17, 1960 and moved to Cranbrook in 1963. Brad was a brother to Doug, Dean and Blaine. Brad passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Friday, March 16, 2018 at Joseph Creek Care Village after a short period of acute illness.
Brad’s heart was everything Kootenay. After Brad graduated from Mount Baker Secondary, he worked as a carman for CP Rail for many years and was an accomplished welder. His favorite past time was spending time with his family and friends, hunting and fishing around Moyie, Canal Flats and Premier Lake. Brad also loved back road adventures with his dad Earl collecting firewood.
Brad overcame many challenges at times against all odds due to his astonishing will.
The Weech family would like to thank everyone at Interior Health and Joseph Creek Care Village for the compassionate care provided over the years.
A very special thank you to extraordinary efforts made by D. Caroline Shilhan whose kindness and grace towards Brad and his family were such a blessing and left such impact.
At Brad’s request there will not be any funeral service. Please consider a donation to the East Kootenay Addiction Services Society in lieu of flowers.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Weech Bradley Glenn September 17 1960
