Wayne Leonard Hayward
1947-2018
It is with great sadness that the family of Wayne Leonard
Hayward, beloved husband of Nancy Hayward, announce his passing which
occurred on October 12, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born
on August 5, 1947 in Saint John, he was a son of the late Rupert and
Gertrude (Burns) Hayward.
Wayne was a well-known taxi dispatcher and driver for Century
Taxi. His pride and joy were his grandchildren and
great-grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew
him.
Wayne will be missed by his wife, Nancy; children, Michael
and Christa; brothers John, Gerald, David and Malcolm; sister, Donna;
as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was
predeceased by son Robert; brothers, Floyd, Gordon, Murray and Paul;
sisters, Sharon and Marjorie.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of
Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111
Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). A graveside service will be held
on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 11:00 AM in Ocean View Memorial
Gardens. For those who wish, remembrances and condolences can be made
