Wanda L. Sears
1960-2018
It is with sadness that we announce the
passing of Wanda Lee Sears, age 57, of
Sackville. After a lengthy illness, Wanda passed away
peacefully at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Saturday, January 20,
2018, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Sackville, NB, she was a
daughter of Claire (Bourque) Sears and the late Cedric
Sears.
Wanda was loved by everyone.
She lived for her children, and loved time with family and
friends. She was a hardworker and loved talking with
co-workers and patrons.
In addition to her mother Claire, she
will be dearly missed by her son Scott, Sackville; granddaughter
Jasmine; siblings Reggie, Sackville, Rosemary (Colin) Cole, West
Sackville, Michael, Dorchester; her best friend Mary Ann Oster,
Sackville; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son Ben and
brother Wayne.
Arrangements have been entrusted to
Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St.,
Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where visiting hours will be held on
Wednesday from 9 am until leaving for the church at 10:45
am. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Vincent’s Roman
Catholic Church on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 11 am, Father
Allison Carroll officiating. Burial will take place in the
parish cemetery in the spring.
