Wanda Keats

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late “Queen” Wanda Keats (nee Osmond) announces her peaceful passing at her residence in Beaver Bank, NS on Saturday, September 15th, 2018 at the age of 56 years. Born in Port aux Basques, NL, Wanda was the daughter of the late Harold and Shirley Osmond (nee Lomond). She was also predeceased by her brother Isaac Osmond; father and mother-in-law Leon and Carol Fuller (nee Crowell); uncles Wilfred Lomond, Calvin Lomond, Sam Lomond, Ralph Osmond, Thomas Carter, Harvey Parsons, Gerald Osmond and aunt Jane Lillington.
She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her loving husband Douglas Fuller; daughters Samantha (Kelvin) Marryatt of Middle Sackville, NS, Angie(Adam) Dicks of Eastern Passage, NS; step-children Carmen (Josh) Chupik, Natasha Fuller both of Lloydminster, SK, Edward Fuller of New Ross, NS; siblings Rose Bailey of Highfield Park, NS, Wilfred (Irene) Osmond of Port aux Basques, NL, Patsy (Francis) Osmond of Fox Roost, NL, Derrick (Lisa) Osmond of Port aux Basques, NL, Roxanne Osmond of Highfield Park, NS; granddaughters Jade Dicks and Jasmine Dicks; step-granddaughter Teeia Chupik; brother-in-law John (Lucy) Fuller of Welsford, NS; nephews and nieces Robert Patey, Todd Patey, Johnathan (Kelly) Osmond, Nicole Osmond (Steven Lomond), Ashley (Kenneth) LeRiche, Dillon Osmond, Justin Osmond (Keisha Leigh), Allyson (Jason) Minard, Robyn Fuller; aunts and uncles Andrew (Debbie) Lomond, Susie (Jerry) Osmond, Julia Carter, Catherine Osmond (Fred Carter), Pearl Lomond, Mary Noseworthy, Susie Matthews, Caroline (Eli) Ingram, Susie Parsons, Rachel (Walter) Osmond, Una Osmond, Yvonne (Clifford) Short all of Port aux Basques, NL, Elias (Bernice) Osmond, Nora (Isaac) Patey both of Cape Ray, NL; aunts-in-law Elaine Lomond of Pasadena, NL, Elizabeth Lomond of Port aux Basques, NL and uncle-in-law George Lillington of St. John’s, NL, plus a very large circle of cousins and friends.
In keeping with Wanda’s wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation and celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 29th, 2018 from 12-4 pm at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. in Port aux Basques, NL. with inurnment of ashes to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill, TCH, NL. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Wanda’s memory can be made to the family.
