Obituary of Violet Butt
Passed away on June 29, 2018 peacefully at the Carmelite House, Violet Irene Butt (Seymour) of Bishop’s Falls, at the age of 79 years. She retired from Robinson Blackmore and was a member of the United Church Women and United Church Choir. She was predeceased by her sons Johnny and Darren; parents Joe and Theresa Seymour. She leaves to mourn her husband John R. Butt; son, Arch (Roberta); daughters, Elizabeth Ann (Gordon) Guy, Deborah (Ernie) Rand. Also left to mourn are her sister Florence (Cecil) Gilbert and brother Joe (Ava) Seymour; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and a circle of other relatives and friends. Harold Tuck will conduct the funeral service at the Bishop’s Falls United Church on Monday, July 2, 2018 with interment at the United Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Karen Smith (grandaughter), Ken Smith (grandson-in-law), Amanda Guy (grandaughter, Justin Butt (grandson), Jessica Butt (grandaughter) and Gordon Guy (grandson).
