OBITUARY
Vince Károly Lugosi
January 19, 1930 – September 23, 2018
Joyfully, Vince Lugosi joined the ranks of Heaven’s caretakers on September 23, 2018. Never will a weed mar the garden of Eden. Never will a snowbank impede the pearly gates. Never will there be such a kind and giving man again.
Linked in love and faith, his wife Rosita, has been patiently waiting for his return to her for 5 months, only a moment compared to their 49 years together. His garden will continue to be tended by his daughters: Helen (David), Julie (Anssi), Veronica (Ryan), and his grandchildren, April and Jasper. We promise to never let the grass grow long and always pluck the dandelions. Reunited with his brothers, John (János) and Nándor, he will be held in the hearts of his nieces, nephews, family and friends from his adventures around the world. We will remember you, your helpful hands, your humorous spirit, your twinkling eyes, the way you wanted to be remembered.
Visitation will take place at Walter D. Kelly Life Celebration Centre (1969 Wyandotte St. E. 519-252-5711) on Tuesday, October 9 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 10 at 11:00 am with reception to follow. Burial at St. Mary’s Anglican Church Ya in Windsor. In honour of Vince, donations may be made to Alzheimer Society Waterloo Wellington (Alzheimer.ca/en/ww 519-742-1422) or Erie Wildlife Rescue (eriewildliferescue.ca 519-735-3919).
