Peacefully at Kensington Village, London (Formerly of Tobermory) on Saturday April 7, 2018 in her 94th year. Wife of the late William H. “Bill” Porter. Dear mother of Thomas Porter, Leslie Gemmell (Art), Susan Powell (Ian) all of London, Valerie Ann Silverthorn (Doug) of Pickering and Stephanie Smalls (Kevin) of Sarnia. Loving grandmother of Artie Gemmell (Kelly), Deanna Pope (Dan), Doug Silverthorn (Lia), Jennifer Silverthorn-Resendes, Steven Powell, Denver Smalls (Jessica) and Derek Smalls. Great grandmother of Chanel, Shae, Ashley, Riley, Hailey, Alexander, Hayden, Ruby, Hazel and Corbin. Sister of Janet Mayo. She will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her grandchildren Kurtis Leghorn and Megan Powell and her brother Ken Mayo and her daughter in law Rosemary Porter. Cremation has taken place. Private family interment will be held in Tobermory.
