Victor Sweet
Passed away on August 24, 2018
SWEET, Victor E. – 84, of Dartmouth passed away on August 25th in the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Goldenville, Nova Scotia on February 14, 1934. He was the son of the late Rufus and Annetta (Williams) Sweet. Victor was a familiar face at the old K-Mart and Beazley Lanes Bowling Alley in Dartmouth. He always enjoyed the company of others, whether he was league bowling, chatting with someone at the Burger King or spending Sundays at Steven’s Road United Baptist Church. He was grateful to those that helped him, especially those who got him to church each week and the staff of Clarmar Care Ltd. For their kindness and caring ways. He is survived by his sister Prudence Leslie and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters; Alice, Caroline, Dellice, Zelpha and Anne brothers; his twin Valentine, Stubbert, Edward, Burton, Charles and Jay. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 11am in Steven’s Road United Baptist Church, Dartmouth. Pastor Christopher Drew and Pastor Erin Jackman officiating, burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Sherbrooke, NS. At a later date.
