JEFFRIES, Veronica Bernice « Vonnie » (nee Gillis)
At the Juravinski Hospital on Monday, December 10, 2018, Vonnie Jeffries at the age of 73 years. Beloved daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Gillis. Loving mother of Cheryl and Paul, Robyn and Rick and grandma of Taylor and Kyle. Dear sister of the late Ann (late Lloyd), late John, Rose (late Gerard), late Joe (Ruth), Ardelle (late Phil), Frank (Donna), late Gerry (Stella), Chuck (Gayle), Kathy (John). Vonnie is survived by her sister-in-law Pat (Lloyd). She will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her dear friend and sister-in-law Millie. A special thank you to Juravinksi ICU nurse Aaron for his kind care and compassion. Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home – « William J. Markey Chapel », 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Thursday, December 13th from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Parish at Corpus Christi Site, 1694 Upper James Street, Hamilton on Friday, December 14th at 10:00 am. Cremation will follow.
