Vernon Leve Brewer
1938-2017
Vernon L. Brewer of Zealand, NB passed away December 30, 2017 at York
Care Centre. Vernon was born at Zealand, NB on March 28, 1938, a son
of the late Lloyd and Rebecca (Lawrence) Brewer. He worked for a
number of years on the railroad, followed by a career as a delivery
truck driver for KB Trusses and White’s Building Supplies.
He is survived by his children, Charlene Brewer, Woodstock, NB,
Carolyn Fullarton, Fredericton, NB, Carmen Gallagher (Leo), Tracy, NB,
Danny Brewer, Zealand, NB and David Keirstead, Fredericton, NB; five
grandchildren, Nobalee (Jeremy), Crystal (Justin), Amanda (Mitch),
Jason (Nadia) and Madeline (Von); eleven great grandchildren, Jeffrey,
Colton, Ryan, Aiden, Jaxson, Adrianna, Taylor, Jayden, Faith, Jason
and Noah; an x-son-in-law, Adrian Morehouse; a brother, George Brewer,
Zealand, NB and a sister, Stella Billings, Hainesville, NB; several
nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Zula
Brewer; an infant daughter, Noblee; sisters, Mary Brewer, Pauline
Sharpe and Georgina Tompkins; brothers, Jasper, Ralston and Edison
Brewer.
Visiting hours will be held at the Stone Ridge Pentecostal Church, 129
Upper Stone Ridge Road, Zealand, NB on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 2
pm at the church with Rev. Terrance Brewer and Rev. Edward Guiggey
officiating. Interment will be at a later date at the Hilltop Family
Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be his children, Charlene, Carolyn, Carmen, David and
his granddaughters, Crystal and Amanda.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Vernon, the family
has suggested the Alzheimer Society.
