Verne Bean
Passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Alexandra Marine & General Hospital, Goderich, on March 26, 2018 in his 90th year. Born on July 7, 1928, in Colborne Township to the late David and Violet Bean, he was the beloved husband of Madeline (nee McCullough) for over 66 years. Dear father of Donna (George) Adams of Port Albert and Rhonda (Dan) Butt of Goderich Township. Cherished Grandpa Bean of Steven, David and Peter Adams and great-grandpa of Dayton. Survived by sisters, Phyllis Etsell and Irma Mason, and in-laws Bernard Fisher and Sharlene Bean. Predeceased by his sister Bernice Fisher, brother Burton Bean and brothers-in-law Clive Allin, Doug Etsell and Jim Mason. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received at the McCallum & Palla Funeral Home (11 Cambria Road North, Goderich) on Friday, March 30, 2018 from 6 – 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Memorial donations in Verne’s name made to the Alexandra Marine & General Hospital or Christ Church, Port Albert, or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
