Obituary of Verna Keill
Peacefully surrounded by the love of her family, at the United Mennonite Home in Vineland, on Thursday morning, March 1st, 2018. Verna Margaret Keill (nee Howell), of Vineland and formerly of Owen Sound, at the age of 79 years. Loving mother of Wendy Munro (Colin), of Beamsville and Terry Keill (Kim), of Owen Sound. Proud grandmother of Jamie Munro (Denise), Janine Munro (Patrick) and great-grandmother of Adina and Alexander Munro. Dear sister of Ethel Dueck, of Vineland, Ross Howell (Beverly) and David Howell (Joanne), both of Owen Sound and sister-in-law of Nita Howell, of Minnesota and Eunice Howell, of London. Verna will always be remembered by her children’s father, Francis Keill, of Owen Sound and her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Percy and Jean Howell; her siblings, Doris Martin (Mel), Elgin Howell (Jane), Gordon Howell, Glen Howell; her in-laws, Abe Dueck and Sandra Howell.
A Funeral Service for Verna Keill will be held in the Chapel of the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Tuesday, March 6th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jeff Sensenstein officiating. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce as an expression of sympathy.
