Obituary of Vera Morris
It is with heavy hearts that the family of the Late Vera Morris announce her passing on Friday, November 16, 2018, at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL at the age of 86 years. She will be forever, remembered and loved by her husband Kevin Morris; children: Marilyn (Kenny) Gilliam, Calvin (Patricia) Morris, Lloyd (Beverly) Morris, Paul Morris, Jed (Marianne) Morris, Boyd (Natasha) Morris, Naomi Morris, Melanie (Jason) Jenkins, Colin (Dana) Morris; grandchildren: Denise, Michael, Jason, Janine, Trudi, Colin, Tanya, Elizabeth, John-Paul, Kimberley, Patrick, Owen, Kendra, Amanda, McKenna, Cailean; many great-grandchildren; sisters: Viola (Rodney) Gale, Gertrude Duffy, Mildred (Jim) Gregory; brother Willis (Nora) Rose and a large circle of in-laws, nieces, nephews other family and friends. She was pre-deceased by her parents Samuel and Jane Rose; brothers: Bob, Eldred and sister Maude. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church in Jeffrey’s between the hours of 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Norman Cutler officiating. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Jeffrey’s, NL will take place following the service. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church Memorial Fund. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
