Peacefully at Dufferin Oaks on Saturday, September 15th, 2018 at the age of 77. Beloved wife of Chuck Landry of 55 years. Dear mother of Darrick and Todd and his wife Lisa. Cherished grandmother of Laken, Lexi and Niki. Remembered by her sister Jeanne Washington (Ed) and her brother Jim Waligun (Rosa). Predeceased by her mother Martha Saramaki and her step father John Nataloski and her brother Mike. Vera will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends. 20 as a Nurse with Dufferin Area Hospital-Headwaters Health Care Centre.
Funeral Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre 21 First Street Orangeville, on Friday, September 21st, 2018 at 1:30 pm. with visitation beginning at 11:30 am. Memorial donations to Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family. Special thank you to the wonderful staff at Dufferin Oaks, Shelburne.
A tree will be planted in memory of Vera in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
