Vera Joan Mather (nee Hutchings) 1919 – 2018
Passed away peacefully at Woodlands of Sunset in Welland on Friday August 10, 2018 at the age of 98.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Charles (2005). Lovingly remembered by her daughter Julie (Jack) Watson, her grandson John (Chrissy) Watson, her sister Ann (Peter) Gledhill, her niece Jenny (Jess) Howlett, and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. After W.W.II Vera and her husband Charles began a large family emigration from Banbury England which now boasts several generations who enjoy a rich family heritage. Her daughter Julie and family would like to extend a heartfelt special thanks to Jenny and Jess Howlett for their loving care of Vera, to Vera’s sister Ann Gledhill, sister-in-law Donna Hutchings and the staff at Woodlands of Sunset. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Nature Conservancy of Canada or The Woodlands of Sunset.
