VERA SOPHIA (PRUETER) BACH
August 5, 1915 – December 31, 2018
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of our dear Mother at the Village of Glendale Crossing, London Ont. She passed away peacefully as she lived her life. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Bach (1974). Cherished and loving Mother of Eleanor and Marvin Winhold, Wilbert and Donna Bach, Bernice and Ron Orr, Marian and Bob Rutledge. Loving Grandmother of Bruce Winhold, Barry Winhold, Natalie Winhold Miller, Angela Bach and Chris Sapay, David Bach, Brian and Stephanie Orr, Julie and Shaun van den Berg, Paul and Erica Rutledge, Mark and Jennifer Rutledge. Cherished GG and Great Grandmother of Derek Winhold, Brianna Rutledge, Harley Orr, Max Rutledge, Atlas Orr.
Predeceased by her parents Edward and Emma Prueter, sister Edna and Norman Rode, brother Lloyd and Velma Prueter and twin sister Maude and Wilfred Ahrens.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 10-10:45 am followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am with Pastor Don Schieman officiating. A reception at the Lockhart Reception Centre will follow. Interment in First Lutheran Cemetery, Logan. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Mother are asked to consider First Lutheran Church-Logan Ont, or The Lutheran Hour Ministries.
