Veerman, Jim
James “Jim” Lawrence Veerman, of Durham, passed suddenly at his home on Friday, October 26th, 2018 in his 47th year. Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Charlton). Proud father of Joshua and Karissa Veerman. Dear son of John and Jean Veerman. Brother of Shirley Veerman, Brenda Veerman and Mike Kosonic, and Rosanne and Ron Marshall. Son-in-law of Elsie Lipskie and Jim Kaufman. Brother-in-law of Jack and Tania MacArthur. Dear uncle of Cassandra and Stew, Clayton and Janine, Holly, Leah and Dan, Angie, Nathan, Tyler, Mikayla and Brent, and Zach. Fondly remembered by many great mini nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
Visitation:
Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the Durham Community Centre, 451 Saddler Street West, Durham on Tuesday, October 30th from 6 – 9 p.m.
Celebration of Life::
A memorial service celebrating Jim’s life will be held at the Durham Community Centre on Wednesday at 1 p.m., with visitation prior to the service from 12 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. Private interment at Durham Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to a trust fund for Joshua and Karissa (more information will be available at the visitation and service). Arrangements entrusted to the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham.
