Vasiliki « Bessie » Kapelos
Peacefully, surrounded by family at her residence, on
Saturday, December 8, 2018 Bessie Kapelos of London in her 105th
year.
Predeceased by her husband Philip, daughter Nancy and
daughter-in-law Sabine. Dear mother of Mary Singeris (Anthony),
Georgia (George Peter) and Nicholas and mother-in-law of Dr. Peter
Andros. Cherished yiayia of Ted, Phil, Demetri, Marisa, Phil, Vassy,
Zoe, Tina, Alexandra and 9 great
grandchildren.
Born in Zeli, Arcadia, Greece. Both she and her husband were active
supporters of the London Community. Bessie was the first President of
the Greek Ladies Philoptochos.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to all her
caregivers.
Visitation will be held at
Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas
Street, London, Ontario (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on
Tuesday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 -9:00 p.m. with prayers at
8:00 p.m.
The Funeral Service will be held at Holy
Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W.,
London, Ontario on Wednesday, December 12 , 2018 at 1:30 p.m. with
Father Demetre Mouselimis officiating.
Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London, Ontario.
Those who wish, may make memorial donations to Holy
Trinity Greek Orthodox Church or the charity of your choice in memory
of Bessie.
A tree will be planted, by the Logan Funeral Home,
as a living memorial to Bessie Kapelos.
