Valeria Mary Belowitz

Peacefully, at St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre on August 3, 2018 in her 96th year.
Beloved wife of the late Frederick Belowitz (2000). Loving mother of Fred (Debbie) and Charles. Dear Grandma of Shauna (Matt), Ryan (Emma) and Jeff. Great Grandma of Evalena Stone and Oliver Belowitz. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Val was the last of the Dostal clan, predeceased by brothers Joseph, Steve, Frank and Tony and sisters Stephanie, Mary and Lucy. Val was a long-time member of the Polish Mutual Benefit and Friendly Society, the Polish Club – Pearl St., the St. Joseph’s Church CWL and a founding member of the Nit-Wits.
The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL”, 96 West St., on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8pm with Parish Prayers at 7:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 235 Brant Ave., on Thursday, August 9, 2018, at 10am. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Joseph’s Lifecare Foundation and St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Elevator Project would be appreciated.
