It is with immense sorrow that we announce the passing of Val-Marie Ann Windrum on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Mayerthorpe Health Centre at the age of 60 years. She was born to parents Helen and Marty Andres and was one of fifteen children. Val-Marie had many loves, but greatest of all was that of her family. She will forever be loved and terribly missed by her children, Chastity (Andrew) Brandt, Dawn-Marie Parent, Cheryl (Les) Fehr, Thomas Turner, Valerie Ancel and Emma (Shawn) Turner; grandchildren, Jesse, Kaitlin, Skyler, Tettianna, Faith, Karsyn, Sherri-Lynn, Joshua, Matthew, Barrett, Ben, Caleb, Cyren, Cerenity, Jaxon and Elijah; great-grandchildren, Addison, Luca and Elena; siblings, Melvin, Kenneth, Geraldine, Cecil, Eric, Eldon, Clarence, Eugene, Vern, Marvin, Doreen and Carol, as well as by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, many extended family and wonderful friends. Val-Marie is predeceased by her son, Christopher; grandson, Phoenix; parents, Helen and Marty Andres; brother, Richard; sister, Dixie-Lee as well as by several other extended family members. Val-Marie’s children wish to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all of the Doctors, Nurses and other caregivers who had a hand in the phenomenal care and compassion provided to their mom during her illness and stay at Mayerthorpe Health Centre.
