Una Bessie Simon
August 16, 1946 – April 04, 2018
It is with sadness that the family of the late Una Bessie Simon announces her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL aged 71 years.
Una leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband, Sam (Junior); sons, Darrel (Joanne), Dayle (Glenda), & Chris (Laurie); 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sisters, Vina Seaman, & Hazel (Bernie) Feodorff; brothers, Ross (Rose) Curlew, & Peter (Colleen) Curlew; brother-in-law, Desmond (Karen) Simon; sister-in-law, Rosemary (Gary) Samson; step-mother, Violet Curlew & extended family; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.
Una is predeceased by parents, Lester & Jospehine Curlew.
The public visitation will take place Friday, April 6, 2018 at 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm from Botwood Funeral Home, 147 Commonwealth Drive, Botwood, NL.
The funeral service will take place Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11 am from Trinity United Church, Botwood, NL. The interment will follow from the United Church Cemetery, Botwood, NL.
In lieu of flowers and has expressions of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Diabetic Association.
