Tony Zomers
Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at home on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at the age of 62. Loving husband to Carolyn (Schauer). Beloved father of Kirk (Candice) and Diana. Cherished Poppa to Kaydence and Carter Zomers and Owen and Olivia LaHay. Beloved son of Hendrica and the late Harry Zomers. Dearest brother of Johanna Zomers, Mary Foden, Bert (Donna), Henriette (Donald Donohue), Martin (Barb) and Christine (Jason LeNeveu). Beloved son-in-law to Gilbert and the late Gwen Schauer. Loved brother-in-law of Joanne (Bill Kolisnyk), Darwin (Sherry) Schauer, Kevin (Mary Lynn) Schauer and Paul Schauer. Adored Uncle and Great Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Tony was predeceased by his nephew Matti Service.
Friends are invited to visit with the family at Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm and again on Saturday beginning at noon. Funeral Mass to celebrate Tony’s life will be held at St. James the Less Church, Eganville on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 2pm, with interment in the parish cemetery.
