Timothy John McGlynn
McGlynn, Timothy John – Passed away peacefully with his loving wife at his side on Sunday November 18, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer. It is with great sadness that we said our final goodbyes to Timothy John McGlynn (Tim) at the age of 51. Beloved husband of six years, to Joanne (nee Longo) who will miss his unconditional love. Loving son to his father Jack McGlynn. Welcomed with open arms by his predeceased mother, Marilyne McGlynn (nee Shelton), and his predeceased in-laws, Domenico and Rosemary Longo. Treasured brother to Wendy Winstanley (Leroy), Drew (Patty) and Rob (Karen). Dear brother-in-law to Mary Dorinzi (Jessy), Nancy Marchese (Gerry), and Domenic Longo (Anita). Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and many wonderful friends. Born and raised in Thorold, Tim will be remembered as an accomplished golf pro, “Big and Easy” and an avid outdoorsman. His words were few but always brought a smile to those around him. We thank him for the many cherished memories. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls, on Thursday November 22 from 7-9 p.m. and Friday November 23, from 10 -11:30 a.m., immediately followed by a Funeral Service in celebration of Tim’s life. Cremation will follow. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Niagara Health System (Douglas Memorial Hospital).
